Registration
Registration will start on Sunday May 22 from 2 p.m. at the Hotel Hermitage (main secretariat).

Participants are expected to show a proof-of-payment (bank transfer receipt, credit card statement) at the registration desk. Payment

Hotel Accommodation
Participants will be accommodated in the hotels according to the preference requested and/or room availability. The final hotel
accommodation will be communicated by May 10.
For those who booked the hotels through the conference organization, participation and hotel fees cover full board at the assigned
hotel, including dinner on Sunday May 22 and breakfast on Saturday May 28 as well as gala dinner and social occasions. Lunch for
all participants will always be served at the Hotel Hermitage.
Hotel accommodation will be paid for directly at the selected hotel. Major currencies, traveler, personal cheques, and credit cards will
be accepted.
Participants booking their own accommodation can have meals at Hotel Hermitage at 56 €/each. They can pay for them directly at the
hotel desk.
Cancellations or changes of the hotel reservation should be communicated before May 16. Late cancellations or no-shows will be
charged by the hotels directly to the participants.

Social activities
Social activities are foreseen during the conference: musical entertainment (sax and accordion) on the evening of Tuesday May 24 and
an open-air gala dinner on Thursday May 26.
Participants may also join one of the following excursions taking place on Wednesday afternoon: a boat trip to Pianosa island, a
walking tour of Portoferraio and a hike from Biodola to Viticcio.
A separate e-mail from the organization will follow for excursion registration. Please consider that participation in excursions is limited
and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Preliminary calendar of sessions
The preliminary calendar of sessions is posted on the INDICO site, showing also the name of the session conveners. The final and
detailed program will be available shortly before the start of the conference.

Instruction to contributors
Contributors are requested to provide an electronic copy of their talk or poster in PDF format, uploading it to the INDICO timetable.
Presentation of talks prepared in other formats is not possible. Presentations will be made using the PC available in the conference
room. Use of personal laptops is not allowed.
Posters will be displayed in electronic form only, through dedicated 50-inch screens, with a 2k resolution (1080×1920 pixels) with
portrait orientation. Printed versions will not be accepted.
Participants presenting a poster contribution are kindly requested to provide:

  • An electronic copy of their poster in .pdf format
  • A one-slide presentation summarizing the contribution to be used for the poster review
  • A close-up picture of the presenter to be used for the poster display

Proceedings
The Proceedings of the Conference will be published as a special issue of Nuclear Instruments & Methods in Physics Research A.
The length of the contributions for final publication is (including title page and figures):
four pages for oral contributions
two pages for poster contributions
The manuscripts will not be accepted if they have been, or are being published elsewhere.
The journal’s submission and the peer review process are managed entirely online using Elsevier’s Editorial System (EES). Instructions
for submission will be given directly to the authors as soon as available.
The deadline for the proceedings submission is set for June 30, 2022.

Welcome cocktail
Welcome cocktails will be offered on Sunday May 22
nd at 7.30 p.m. You will find detailed information upon your arrival at the hotel.

Transportation
Conference buses are organized to ease your transfer from Rome and Pisa airport to and from the conference premises.

The meeting point for participants will be communicated a few days before the meeting and published on the
conference website.

Participants coming by car are invited to book personally well in advance the desired ferry (the return trip too). Please note that tourist traffic is heavy in that period!
