The Executive Board of the Frontier Detector for Frontier Physics Association has assigned two special Awards of € 2.500,00 in memory of Aldo Menzione to distinguished scientists who has contributed to detector technique development with  outstanding achievements.

The awardees of this year are:

René Brun
for PAW & ROOT, fundamental tools for experimental data handling 

Pantaleo Raimondi
for the Crab Waist, a crucial tool for microbeams in electron-positron colliders
