The initialization and the different parameters for the X-Y moving plane
are performed in this TAB.
The "Port Number" and the
"Baud Rate" are to be defined
in the corresponding two "pull down menu"s
in the "Serial Port Setting" field.
The selection of the axis and the motion type is defined in the
"Axis and Motion Type Selection"
frame. There are two "radio buttons"
to select X or Y axis. The motion of the plane in a given direction
could be continuous or up-to a fixed distance which can be selected
by two "radio buttons", labeled as
"Normal" and
"Continuous" .
The parameters for the motion can be defined in the
"Movement Settings " frame .
There are "Numbered Entries" to set
"Acceleration" ,
"Deceleration" ,
"Velocity" and
"Distance" . If
"Continuous" motion is
selected, the "Distance"
field will be dis-activated as both can not be set at the same time.
Finally the motion is controlled in the
"Action" field. There are
buttons to for each action. Using
"Go Forward" and
"Go Backward" buttons the
movement can be directed into the forward and backward directions
respectively. One can use
"Stop Motion" button to
stop the motion which is already started. This is useful in case of
"Continuous" motion.
A predefined motion from a file can be executed using
"Load and Execute Scenario"
button. Once this button is clicked a
"dialog" would pop up to select
the preferred filename.
All actions taken would be printed in the
"Text Field" at the bottom of the TAB.
