Initialization of APV parameters and PLL Setting are performed in this TAB.

• APV Parameters are set/changed in appropriate fields inside the "APV Modes and Registers" frame.
• APV address should be specified in "APV Address" field. To activate a single APV at a time one should specify that particular address in the field, otherwise if 126 is used as address, ALL APV's connected to the I2C channel can be activated.
• The Latency and Mux gain should be specified in the "Latency" and "Mux Gain" fields.
• The Operation Modes of APV are selected from the Check-Buttons of the "Mode" frame. for Peak Mode run, one should select the following :
  • APV Bias
  • Peak Mode
  • 1 Sample
  • Inverting (preferred)
  for Deconvolution Mode run, one should select the following :
  • APV Bias
  • 1 Sample
  • Inverting (preferred)
  in case of Pedestal Run, the selection of "Calib. Off" is optional as it is switched off in the code.
• APV registers should be specified in appropriate fields inside "Register" frame. There are some default values already set in the GUI. These values can also be read from configuration file in the .xml format using "Load Config" button. Here only the APV part would be read automatically. There is an example in setting.xml file in the top directory.

• "Send to APV" button should be used if commands to be sent only to APV.
• APV registers can be read using "Read from APV" button.
• The initialization of PLL can be performed in "Pll Setting" frame. The default values are already set in the GUI. One can also do hardware reset and initialization of TTCRx using "Hard Reset" and "Init TTCRX" check buttons. Hardware reset MUST be done for the first time in the data acquisition.
• The multiplexer address and the register value are set in the "Mux Setting" frame. The default values are already set in the GUI.

The button "Send All" should be used to send all Parameters to the server. One might need to use "Send All" more than once to be able to see in the "APV Frame" in the oscilloscope.

There is a "Text Window" where ALL actions are listed.

The APV parameters can be saved in a XML file using the global button "Save Configuration". It is STRONGLY recommended to save configurations ONLY after initializing FED, FEC, CCU and APVs so that ALL Parameters are saved.
