This translates into<br \/>more accurate test results, and the ability to capture data<br \/>under static loading conditions immediately before failure.<br \/>Sensor connections are quickly made to the cards at the<br \/>rear of each scanner in System 5000. Strain gage cards<br \/>include built-in bridge completion for quarter and half<br \/>bridges, and a constant voltage power supply for 0, 0.5,<br \/>1, 2, 5, and 10 VDC bridge excitation.<br \/>System 5000\u2019s instrumentation hardware is designed to<br \/>incorporate all the features required for precision strain<br \/>measurement under static loading conditions, while<br \/>maintaining flexibility and ease of use. A system can<br \/>be configured with as few as 5, and as many as 1200,<br \/>sensors. Since each Model 5100B Scanner can function<br \/>independently, your System 5000 components can easily<br \/>be configured with StrainSmart software for each test<br \/>requirement.<\/span> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle0\">INPUTS<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle1\">Accepts up to four cards (five channels per card and<br \/>up to 20 channels per scanner).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle0\">A\/D CONVERTER<\/span><span class=\"fontstyle1\">16-bit (15-bit plus sign) successive approximation<br \/>converter.
